Most of us think about
things all the time, even when we don’t realize we are thinking about anything
at all. I’ve often said I wish I could
take off my head once in a while just to give it a rest from all that
thinking. The worst is when the head
comes going around and around during the night, when all I really want is a
good night’s sleep.
The trouble with good ideas
is that an idea is only good if it is acted upon.
Hmmm. Is that true?
It’s like the patent office says, one cannot patent an idea, one can
only patent a method. Or so I’ve been
told.
Do you have a suggestion box
at work? Or does your company request
good ideas from you? Are you rewarded
for it? Do you feel encouraged and proud
if you do something that adds value to your work?
I am working on a
streamlined life. One without any
problems from morning until bedtime. When
I find the perfect temp I am going to create an APP . . . oh wait, I think the
solution would be to have a clone go to work for me, and a second clone to do
all the housework, and the real me can sit in the sunroom drinking tea, reading
books or quietly cross-stitching samplers.
Yes, I am on the mend, the
brain is working, and I am having breakfast by the computer. All’s right with the world.
