The Power of Now

“Once upon a time.”

Magic words to start a story, however according to my girlfriend time is a manmade invention. When Silvia made that statement I pondered it for some time but I have concluded that this is an erroneous statement. When one thinks of nature there is a natural rhythm to things, such as day and night, summer and winter, gestation periods and so forth. Mother Nature may not have had a word for “time” but the tempo, rhythm or whatever one calls it has the element of the manmade word called time.

Today’s blog is short and sweet, an element of time and is caused by the fact that we have lost an hour in our manmade world of time. Therefore my tempo is off. I slept late, got up and rushed about doing housekeeping, had a nap and realized “I forgot my blog” until just now.

So my friends, take a nap today, get a good night’s sleep and foil the predictions of those nasty newsmen and psychiatrists who are telling us that there will be many accidents on the road tomorrow because we have lost an hour of our time.

“Bah humbug.”
